When I want a longer smoke
Mostly I grab my Washington pipe ... but when I want to really enjoy a longer smoke, I usually grab my Diplomat. A larger bowl which usually lasts me about an hour it is a cool, dry, easy smoker. I love the rounded shape, it sits comfortably in my hand. The Danish bits are an improvement, though not as comfortable for me when clenching. |

I just got my Diplomat in the mail and I am impressed! The size of the bowl is much larger than the Legend. I will surely enjoy smoking this pipe, thank Scott for all the advice! |

The Pipe
If I could have only one pipe, it would be this one. Generous bowl, smooth finish, hardwood "plug", and all the advantages of a corn cob pipe. I have a Legend, a General, and a Diplomat. All are good, but this one is, well, special. My favorite tobacco for this pipe is the Peter Stokkebye Balkan Supreme. It is a 30-45 minute time out from, well, everything. I can not finish this review without a "shout out": I would like to thank Scott for this site, and his insight. Well done. |

Straight Diplomat
Nice pipe, Have had many bowls and it smokes well. It's a great beginner pipe or if you want to smoke a bowl somewhere where you don't want to take your good briar. I love stopping for a break on my quad or sitting by the fire at the camp and pulling out one of my cobs. For the price you can't go wrong, I've already got my monies worth!! |
